TL;DR ~1 month delay in fulfilling GB orders due to manufacturing delays. Current window is end of October - mid November 2024. Some learnings and changes we'll make for future collabs 😎.

Hey Friends!
Baz here, I wanted to give everyone some behind-the-scenes info on how things are going with the keycaps. I want to be as transparent as possible with Kappamart and a large part of that involves sharing updates and delays with folks. So without further ado here we go!
Slightly sad news (delay) -
Our manufacturer let us know that the production of our keycaps has been delayed an est. 3 - 4 weeks due to some spillage (idk if thats the right term) from other projects they're working on. This means the estimated shipping & fulfillment window is now end of October - mid November 2024. We are still new to the scene, and dont have a lot of priority over other projects. Our goal, as we do more of these, is to develop and have higher priority with our partners 🤠 to avoid delays like this.
Learnings -
One of our goals for this group buy was to learn a ton, and to that end ✅ mission accomplished. Below are some of the things we learned and will be changing for future collabs / group buys- Cards!
- Our cards look incredible, awesome, and are very very shiny. Like glossy. Digitally it was fine and I gave the go ahead to make them. In retrospect, matte is really the only way to go for trading cards.
- Similarly the corners are all sharp edges, personally its a strong dislike and we will round those corners for future cards (I'm still holding out hope to find a company that can round the corners on these cards)
- Marketing, Scheduling, and Communication ⌨️
- Just an overall "Baz gotta do better at this man". In the future you'll hear more regular updates, info, and memes from me and my team about whats going on :).
